Transferring Internal Calls

Transferring Calls

When you answer a call and need to transfer to another extension:

  • Push 鈥渇lash鈥 or 鈥渢ransfer鈥
  • Dial the extension of the person you are transferring the call to
  • Push 鈥渇lash/transfer鈥 again to complete the transfer

If a phone is ringing in someone else鈥檚 office and they are not in, you can pick up that call by hitting *7! Then you may take a message. If this process does not work in your area, contact the HelpDesk at helpdesk@hendrix.edu or 450-1340.

Transferring Calls to Voicemail

When you answer a call:

  • Push 鈥渇lash鈥 or 鈥渢ransfer鈥
  • Dial 3858*
  • Dial the extension for the person
  • Push 鈥渇lash/transfer鈥 again to complete the transfer
