Sam "Bob" Adkisson became a dentist, graduating from Washington University School of Dentistry in 1951, served 31 years in the air force, and 29 years on faculty at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. He retired at the age of 80.听
1960
Jerry
Robbins continues to play trombone with three local-area (Ann Arbor, MI)
community bands, occasionally conducting two of them, along with playing in an
excellent handbell choir at the local UMC. In addition, he is the conductor of
the 21-piece vintage "Town Band" and conductor of the Community Brass
Choir. He is also the treasurer and grant writer for one of the community
bands.

Joe Bumgardner听continues to enjoy good health and teaches iPhone, Mobile and Digital photography at MS State University ()
Anne Roberts Wells is a retired
DFS social worker in foster care, Saint Louis County Family Court liaison for court
reform, and served as a member of Saint Louis City DFS panel reviewing plans for
children at risk of psychiatric placement. Since retirement she has been a
member and former president of the Writer's Society of Jefferson County and the
present vice-president of the Missouri State Poetry Society. She has four
children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
1964
John Edens听received the Buffalo History Museum's Owen B. Augspurger Award and editor of the 2024 book "Pensive Beauty: Vision of Forest Lawn, Buffalo's First Rural Cemetery."
1965
Carol Oliver and her husband Norman Vig are
living in Roseville, CA, where they tend twenty-five rose bushes and support
liberal causes, human rights, and the Democratic party. Carol retired in 2008
from Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota, where she taught American Studies
far eight years. Before that, she was a professor and then Dean of Academic
Affairs (for eleven years) at Minneapolis College. 听

Mel Gray听published The Economics of Art and Culture, a coauthored book with Dr. Karol Borowiecki of the University of Southern Denmark, which has added a European perspective that extends the book鈥檚 global reach. Cambridge University Press is the publishing group and Gray is Professor Emeritus of Business Economics
and Senior Fellow with the Center for the Common Good at the University of St.
Thomas in Minnesota.

Jeannie Hosley Botts Retired from teaching preschool in Virginia Beach, VA to move back to Germantown, TN.听
June Shirley Gilbreath听is a Paris, AR school board member and is leading the campus beautification project at Paris High School.
Kaye King听retired after working 19 years with the federal government.
1968
Quida Watkins Wright听reunited with several 鈥淕alloway Girls鈥 who became friends in
1964. During the pandemic they Zoomed each week.
Last September they met in Hot Springs and enjoyed a great weekend of visiting.
States represented by the group are Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, and Arkansas.

Keith Kennedy was selected as the Amateur Winner in the Nature's Best Photography National Parks contest with a photo of an Osprey landing on a dead branch in Everglades National Park and has been accepted as a volunteer photographer for the Sara P. Duke Gardens located on the Duke University campus.听听

Neal Ritter has released his second teaching novel, "In the Eyes of God."听
1971
Linda Gannaway听recently
published her second book, "FINALLY Stop Procrastinating: When Nothing
Else Works, Unlock Your Hidden Power to Succeed." As a "recovering
procrastinator," she is currently a speaker, consultant, and life coach
who specializes in helping others overcome procrastination.
Keith McNabb has retired and is the staff organist of First Presbyterian Church in Statesville, NC.
1972
Bob White, MD, recently retired from medical practice as "hospitalist" at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, AR and associate professor of medicine, NYIT medical school teaching service.听 Bob and wife, Marilyn, are closing their Inn, White House Inn B&B, in Paragould that they have owned and operated for 25 years and hope to move back to central Arkansas to be near family and grandchildren.听
Connie Haisty Miller is moving to Virginia with daughter Emmy Miller and
sister Donna Haisty Winchell. Daughter Jenna Miller is in the Master's program
in Engineering at U of A.
Becky Glass Hall has retired from UAMS as Center Director of UAMS East.
Eric Jackson听is Senior Vice President of Oaklawn and a 黑料不打烊 trustee. He has become the fourth person ever to be named to both the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame and the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame, and he is the first person to be inducted into both Halls of Fame in the same year.

David Chumley听celebrated his 49th wedding anniversary with a
cruise down the Rhine River in May. He will be going on a mission trip to Rwanda
in mid-July.
Cathy Monroe Crouch听is retired from teaching public school and am now a Spiritual Director for the Diocese of Little Rock.听
Glenn Dalton听was
named 黑料不打烊 2024 Distinguished Alumnus. He also received this award
from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2013. He is (mostly)
retired after 20 years at Ralston Purina Company, five years as partner at
Sibson Consulting, and then 20 years as Managing Partner at RKD Group. Last
year, he and Brenda Cass relocated to Las Vegas from Orlando and continue an
active life golfing, skiing, hiking, biking, traveling and enjoying grandkids.
George Gleason听was recognized by Arkansas Money & Politics in their 2024 C-Suite edition.
Joseph Kubat听received an honorary doctorate of divinity from North Central Theological Seminary and will receive a Doctorate of Theology from Christian Bible College in January 2024.

Charles Feild published "Feild Notes on Little Rock: History and Memoir, 1622-2024".听 It has been selected for Arkansas Gems, an annual publication of the Arkansas Center for the Book.听 Charles has discussed the book at the Quapaw Quarter Association, the Legacies and Lunch series at the Central Arkansas Library Assoc., and the new 黑料不打烊 Class of 1975 Book club.听

1982
Ramona Pipkin Crippen retired from the Foreign Service in May 2025. She most recently served as the visa chief at the U.S. Embassy Buenos Aires.听听She previously served in consular positions overseas in Ciudad Juarez, Tel Aviv, Islamabad, Guadalajara, and Monrovia. In Washington, D.C., she worked as a regional consular officer providing guidance to thirteen U.S. embassies in Western Hemisphere. Prior to joining the State Department in 2007, Ramona worked in Little Rock for Dillard's corporate office and for Nuvell, a GMAC subsidiary. Ramona currently lives in Guyana, where her husband John Crippen ('86) serves as Deputy Chief of Mission at U.S. Embassy Georgetown.
Jennifer Horne听was named the 2025 recipient of the Hall-Waters Prize for Excellence in
Southern Writing, given by Troy University and established by the late Wade
Hall. The award was presented April 25, 2025 and included a public reading,
question and answer period with students, award luncheon, and television

Kim Barton听retired
as a school counselor from the North Little Rock School District May 2025.
Vicki Keck received the Presidential Service medal and award from the White House for
volunteer hours in the community of Little Rock.

Steve Scarborough is retired and builds guitars.听 He has been married 42 years.听听
Nancy Womack Mitchell is working part-time as an adjunct clinical
instructor for graduate psychiatric-mental health nursing students for Bradley
University School of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She continues to work full-time as
a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Cardinal Counseling in NLR and part-time at
Front Range Family Psychiatry in Choteau, MT.
Melanie Thorton has worked for the University of Arkansas for over 13 years providing training and tech assistance related to Disability access (her specialty is digital access). She is gearing toward retirement and can't wait to spend more time camping, kayaking, and traveling.听
Clell Ford听teaches biology at Heritage High School in Rogers, AR.
Brooks Gentry has retired from UAMS after 30 years as a practicing physician.

Richard Walton was elected Chair of the SPCC and to the Board of Directors of the International Dairy Federation (IDF) during the World Dairy Summit in Santiago, Chile. IDF consists of 40 member countries and serves as the leading source of scientific and technical knowledge for the global dairy sector. Richard has represented the Japanese dairy sector for many years.听
Jim Mark Ingram recently married his husband, Remington Stokes,听 in Oct. of 2024 and live with their two fur babies in downtown Argenta in North Little Rock.听 He just celebrated his 31st anniversary as owner/physician at Little Rock Allergy and Asthma Clinic.听听
Pamela Anderson -"40 years after my 黑料不打烊 commencement, I was
blessed to celebrate my daughter, Sydney Lovell graduating from 黑料不打烊 with a

Jo Williams听received the Department of Commerce Gold Medal Award for being part of interdisciplinary
team for the rapid development of Gulf of Mexico marine spatial planning that
advanced the President鈥檚 offshore wind energy priority and notably reduced the
potential for siting conflicts. The Gold Medal is the highest honor granted by
the Secretary of Commerce for distinguished and exceptional performance. She was
also recipient of the National Marine Fisheries Service Employee of the Year
Award.
Bracken Darrell听has been appointed President and CEO of VF Corporation, one of the world's largest active-lifestyle companies.
Pebble Jones Sutherland听has retired after 31 years as a pediatrician.
1986
John Crippen assumed duties as Deputy Chief of Mission at U.S. Embassy Georgetown, Guyana, in August 2025. John joined the Foreign Service in 2007. He most recently served as Management Counselor at U.S. Embassy Buenos Aires. He previously served overseas in Ciudad Juarez, Tel Aviv, Islamabad, Guadalajara, and Monrovia. In Washington, D.C., John served as the Performance Management Officer for the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs in their Office of Policy Planning and Coordination. Before joining the State Department, John worked for a U.S.-based banking software company, specializing in project management and client relations in Latin America. John holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in philosophy from 黑料不打烊 and a master鈥檚 degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College. He is joined in Georgetown by his recently retired Foreign Service Officer wife, Ramona Pipkin Crippen.
Travis Langley, Ph.D., distinguished professor, became chair of the psychology department at Henderson State University.听 He will publish his 17th book in 2026.听

Jim Jackson serves on the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee of Bar Examiners.听 He grades the bar exam in February and August along with Blake Clardy, Class of 1988 and several other prominent attorneys and judges.听 Jim serves on the Arkansas Bar Association's Board of Trustees and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association.
Jason Terk was presented
with the Sidney Kaliski award of merit at the annual meeting of the Texas
Pediatric Society (TPS). TPS is the state professional organization
for pediatricians and an advocacy entity for children; it is also the Texas
chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Michelle Elliot has accepted a new position as Associate Director, Revenue Integrity at UAMS Medical Center.听
Eric Francis joined
the Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA), the nonprofit trade group for the
tabletop games industry, as the communications manager. His responsibilities
include internal and external communications, marketing to members, and
overseeing their quarterly magazine. GAMA represents manufacturers, publishers,
retailers, designers, distributors, and other companies and individuals
involved in the creation and distribution of board games, role playing games,
and other tabletop games. It hosts the annual Origins Game Fair in Columbus,
Ohio, which is attended by more than 20,000 people each year.
David Hawkins achieved Licensed

John Krueger, MD, MPH, is the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Quality Officer, and Under-Secretary of Medical Staff & Quality at the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health (CNDH) and was named a Becker's "CMO to Know" in 2023, 2024, and 2025.听听

Hiep Tran is now a big wave surfer after a successful finance career.听 He has also become an avid spray paint graffiti artist with several exhibitions of his work last year.听 He credits 黑料不打烊 for inspiring him to achieve greatness.听
Jeremy Turner recently started a big cat sanctuary in Fort Smith and remains an expert on western hats and buckles with a large collection of memorabilia.听 He walked across America in 2022 to raise money for big cats.
Olin Ericksen is lead position in Public Affairs at Cox Communications.听 He traveled to all 50 states over the last 2 years and recently swam across the English Channel.听
John Frederick is a Vascular Surgeon and cycled across the Gobi desert last year.听
Angel Johnson Belsey owns publishing company Deixis Press, which has been听featured听 in the UK and international
media, from The Guardian to The Daily Mail to BBC Radio, and have won or been
shortlisted for prizes including The Next Generation Indie Book Awards, The
Rubery Prize for Fiction, Readers鈥 Choice Book Awards, and The Guild of Food
Writers Awards.听 Her novella set in Conway and Vilonia, "Six Mile Store", will be published on 19 March 2026.听听

student at OU School of Dance-Classical Ballet performance major. She is still teaching HS Science,"but now online which I love. I have a double major from
黑料不打烊 (Biology and Religion) so teaching online provides me time/flexibility
to study sacred texts. Feeding both of my interests- Unto The Whole Person-

Laura Woodruff Key was named Associate Scientist in the Department of Pathology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Layla Merrifield was named president of the Wisconsin Technical College System.
Matt Dunn听is a Training Specialist at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, ID. He also published a book, A Moss-Covered Trail, about his thru-hike of the Ozark Highlands Trail.听

Rebecca Morey Reynolds recently published her first book, a short story collection called "This is How We Speak".听 The collection features thirteen stories that focus on the relationship between parent and child, exploring the intersection of love and sacrifice.听After graduating from 黑料不打烊 in 2001, Rebecca earned a MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College and her work has appeared in Ascent, Copper Nickel, The MacGuffin, and other places.

Anna Parker Morshedi accepted a position as Policy Director at Arkansas Appleseed Legal Justice Center.听 She'll be working in the areas of violence prevention, youth intervention, and youth violence reduction.听

Josh Blevins recently received an MS in Real Estate Development from MIT.听 He had a lot of fun pretending to be a full-time student again.听听
Rip Weaver (along with three other 黑料不打烊
alumni and a current student) completed the spring session of R.O.C.K. Academy,
a 7-week course on all-things Little Rock offered by the City's Office of
Executive Administration. The academy title stands for "Residents
Obtaining Community Knowledge" and participants gained an in-depth
understanding about Little Rock's municipal government from the mayor's office
and the city board of directors to city departments and commissions. There was
an opportunity to Q&A with Mayor Frank Scott, Jr.; leaders of the Little
Rock Regional Chamber, Little Rock Convention
& Visitors Bureau, & the Port of Little Rock; many city department
directors; and other special guests.
In June 2025, Rip was

Brad Howard听was
elected by his neighbors to the District of Columbia's Advisory Neighborhood
Commission where he will represent his neighborhood in advising the District
government and federal agencies on matters affecting his community. He assumes
office on Jan. 2, 2025, where he will begin a two-year term. Additionally,
Brad, who launched his own lobbying and public affairs firm in February 2022
has merged with two other Democratic firms to create Intersection, a
full-service strategic consulting Washington-based firm that specializes in
lobbying, public affairs, and advocacy.

Martha Nicholas听has worked for the Department of Human Services for almost four years as an

Christine Faubel Hogg is the Gallery Curator and Marketing Coordinator for The Masonic Events Center and the Gallery Coordinator for Bas Bleu Theatre Company, both landmarks in downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also a published poet and has served as a featured facilitator, performer, and co-host for a podcast that highlights events and individuals in the regional poetry scene. She continues to show her solo and collaborative work around the U.S. and abroad and has offered guided creative workshops focused on grief and the unknown. Locally, she works with fellow leaders across sectors to strengthen the creative scene in Fort Collins through conducting qualitative research and creating opportunities for professional development and relationship-building among artists, arts administrators, and the general public.
Becca Mayeux Foster will have her first solo art show, 鈥淭himbles in Thread:
Embroidered Wonders鈥澨 that will exhibit at the Radford University Art Museum in
Radford, Virginia, September 8 to October 22, 2025. The show will display ten
photo-realistic studies of the artist鈥檚 childhood souvenir thimble collection
rendered meticulously in thread on fabric. Radford University will host a
closing reception on October 8, where Becca will also give a presentation on

Rachel Zweig is one year into her Peace Corps service as a Rural Extension Volunteer in
Guatemala. She works with the local extension agents, community groups, and a

Kelly Brice听graduated with her PhD in Experimental Psychology from Texas Christian University in 2023 and is now working as an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow at Rice University. She is also in her fourth season as a Houston Texans Cheerleader and will be representing the Texans in the 2026 Pro Bowl Games in San Francisco.
