Program Offers Opportunities in Literature & Language

Murphy Scholars in Literature and Language are students from all majors who receive dedicated resources and enhanced support to pursue their passions in literature and language. They take an Oxford-style tutorial course in literature or language and bond as a community of scholars on campus.

First-year students who are keenly interested in literature and language are eligible to apply to the Murphy Scholars Program in Literature and Language. The deadline for the class of 2023 has passed. For the class of 2024—students entering ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in August 2020—the application window will open in January 2021. Applications must be received by Friday, February 5, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. We will hold informational sessions on campus this fall and will publicize further details through campus media and on our live feed, so please download the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ-Murphy app to stay up-to-date.
