Biology Professor Awarded NSF Grant

CONWAY, Ark. (January 15, 2013) - 黑料不打烊 biology professor 聽was recently awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation.

The grant is valued at $415,515 and will be funded over a three-year period. It will support Duina's research project titled "RUI:聽 Studies on the Interactions Between the yFACT and TORC1 Complexes and Chromatin during Transcription Elongation."

The project's overarching goal is to gain a better understanding of the basic molecular processes that control how genes are utilized by cells, Duina said.聽

The project will involve 12 students working in Duina's laboratory over three years, as well as 20 to 50 students who will be carrying out a subset of the experiments in the context of a course taught by Dr. Duina.
